About The Role

We are currently seeking an engaged and skilled Business Consultant (m/w/d) specializing in IT projects with a focus on accounting processes. This role is ideal for professionals who not only understand commercial processes but also enjoy actively optimizing them and translating business requirements into effective IT solutions. The position offers the flexibility of 100% remote work and is available through direct placement, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth within a dynamic environment. As a Business Consultant, you will analyze existing financial and administrative workflows, develop and implement process improvements, and support IT projects from conception through to successful deployment. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration of new systems and processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and compliance of our clients' accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or degree with a focus on accounting, finance, or related fields (e.g., Business Informatics, Business Administration, Taxation)
• Alternatively, several years of practical experience in accounting or processing ongoing business transactions
• Experience with ERP systems, including configuration or key-user roles
• Knowledge of energy industry-specific processes is advantageous
• Proven experience in process optimization, software implementation, or database systems (e.g., MS SQL Server, SAP, Oracle)
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Strong communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented work approach
• Willingness to undertake planned, nationwide travel

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document existing commercial business processes in areas such as financial accounting, invoice verification, and accounts receivable/payable management
• Derive functional requirements and develop practical target processes, ensuring compliance with legal standards
• Support IT projects, including implementation and monitoring of defined processes
• Ensure the successful introduction of optimized business processes, including organizational adjustments
• Configure and adapt software solutions to meet specific client needs
• Conduct workshops and user training sessions for departments such as finance, controlling, and billing
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and actively participate in project work to ensure seamless execution
