Our client is a leading, fast-growing company in the field of industrial packaging solutions and logistics services with several locations in Germany and Europe. The broad product portfolio ranges from packaging materials and transport solutions to customized export services.

About the Role

As a Sales Manager (m/f/d), you will start in field sales and take over your own sales territory in the greater Rhine-Main and Rhine-Neckar region -- from Mannheim and Heilbronn up to Frankfurt. You will be out with customers from day one, actively acquiring new clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Active new customer acquisition in the B2B sector -- on-site with the customer, with a clear focus on closing deals
  • Building and independently maintaining your sales pipeline in the region
  • Advising industrial customers on packaging solutions, transport materials, and export services
  • Utilizing cross-selling potentials across the broad product portfolio
  • Creating offers and negotiating contracts -- initially with support from the senior sales team
  • Market and competitor observation: Where are there untapped potentials and new sales opportunities?
  • Representing the company at customer appointments, trade fairs, and industry events

Your Profile

  • Completed commercial or technical apprenticeship
  • Strong "hunter mindset", pragmatic "hands-on" mentality, high level of initiative, and enjoyment of field sales work
  • Strong communication skills, persuasive, and with genuine interest in building customer relationships
  • Independent, structured way of working and hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to travel within your sales territory
  • Fluent German; industry experience in packaging, logistics, or industry is an advantage, but not a requirement

Salary: €70,000.00 - €95,000.00 per year
