About the Role

We are looking for an Accountant / Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) to strengthen our team.

You will be employed by us and support one of our clients in the daily business of financial accounting (accounts receivable/payable).

If you work in a structured, reliable manner and enjoy keeping finance processes running smoothly – then this is a great fit for you.

Your Responsibilities

• Checking, coding, and booking incoming invoices (accounts payable)
• Processing daily accounts receivable/payable accounting
• Clarifying open items and reconciling accounts
• Support with payment transactions and master data maintenance
• Communication with internal contact persons as well as suppliers/customers
• Support with monthly closing (depending on experience)
• Participation in the optimization of workflows and accounting processes

What You Bring

• Commercial apprenticeship or comparable qualification
• Initial experience in accounting (accounts payable/receivable) desirable
• Confident use of Excel
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., Sage, DATEV, SAP, etc.) is an advantage
• Careful and structured way of working
• Team spirit + clear communication
