Introduction

Our client is looking for a motivated Cloud Engineer (m/w/d) with a focus on Azure infrastructures, IT administration, and cloud migrations. The company is a specialized IT service provider focusing on the implementation and modernization of cloud environments, Microsoft 365 services, and security solutions. With a focus on modern, scalable, and secure IT architectures, our client supports companies in their digital transformation -- from conception to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Planning, building, and managing secure cloud infrastructures based on Microsoft Azure
• Performing migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud
• Modernizing existing customer landscapes using Azure-native services
• Implementing Azure Virtual Desktop, networks, policies, and monitoring
• Presenting architecture and security concepts in workshops and customer meetings
• Close collaboration with teams in Security, Modern Workplace, and License Management

Requirements

• Initial professional experience or strong interest in Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies
• Certification as Azure Solutions Architect Expert -- or willingness to obtain it
• Knowledge of Bicep, ARM, or Terraform for infrastructure automation
• Understanding of network design, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure Monitor, and Policies
• Desirable: Experience with Azure Arc, CAF, DevOps (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps), or Azure Lighthouse
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and Defender security solutions is an advantage
• Strong communication skills, structured approach, and enjoyment of direct customer interaction
• Very good German and English skills
