Your New Job

  • Participation in ensuring compliance with all relevant dangerous goods regulations (e.g., ADR, RID, IMDG, IATA) and comprehensive advice to management and specialist departments
  • Responsibility for hazardous substance management, including the identification, creation, and maintenance of the hazardous substance register, risk assessments, and operating instructions
  • Planning and execution of internal audits and site inspections to monitor processes, document results, and derive optimization measures
  • Conception and implementation of training and instruction courses to sensitize and qualify our employees on dangerous goods and hazardous substance issues
  • Active participation in emergency and crisis management, as well as close cooperation with internal and external stakeholders

What Convinces Us

  • Completed technical or scientific training or studies (e.g., logistics, chemistry, safety technology, engineering) or comparable qualification
  • Valid training certificate or certification as a dangerous goods officer (m/f/d) according to GbV; ideally experience with multiple modes of transport
  • Sound knowledge of national and international dangerous goods regulations (esp. ADR; possibly IATA-DGR, IMDG Code) as well as practical experience in handling hazardous substances, including risk assessments, hazardous substance registers, safety data sheets, and operating instructions
  • Structured, careful, and independent way of working with strong communication and consulting skills
  • Good German language skills in speaking and writing; English skills are an advantage
