The position of B2B Solution Sales Consultant supports B2B sales in acquiring and developing complex customer projects through technical and functional evaluation, conception, and communication of scalable end-to-end solutions with a focus on networked IoT solutions and other digital services for business customers.
In addition to ensuring offer quality, technical feasibility, and structured handover for implementation, the role actively contributes to new customer acquisition and the identification of cross-selling and up-selling potentials across various customer segments.
By developing scalable solution components, transferring knowledge to sales, and participating in the further development of the Digital Services solution portfolio, the Solution Sales Consultant significantly contributes to increasing efficiency and quality in pre-sales, differentiated market positioning, and sustainable revenue development.

What to Expect
- Solution Consulting: Independent and early support of sales in acquisition, customer meetings, and tenders.
- Pre-Sales: Independent execution of pre-sales activities such as conception and preparation of offers, business cases, and service descriptions with the aim of increasing the win rate, improving forecast accuracy, and shortening sales cycles through quality-assured deal management and pre-sales standards.
- Funnel Management: Ensuring the quality, efficiency, documentation, and pipeline management of all pre-sales activities, as well as responsible pipeline management and proactive contribution to achieving revenue and growth targets.
- Customer Engagement: Organization and execution of customer workshops, product demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to validate solution concepts and actively drive customer decisions, as well as participation in internal/external customer events.
- Offer Management: Analysis of customer requirements and creation of detailed technical concepts and architectures for digital services, as well as supporting sales in offer presentations and contract negotiations with technical expertise and solution argumentation.
- Solution Development: Independent development of complex end-to-end solution concepts (IoT Device, Connectivity, Edge/Cloud Integration, Security) considering technical, economic, and organizational requirements, as well as deriving well-founded architectural and solution decisions.
- Project Management: Functional leadership or independent coordination of required resources, partly cross-departmental or with external stakeholders (Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Solution Partners) to ensure technical feasibility and smooth handover to implementation.
- Competence: Independent market and trend observation to identify new technologies and solution approaches, as well as continuous training in relevant fields and knowledge anchoring within the team (Enablement/Playbooks).
What You Bring
- University degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a comparable specialized technical qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of professional experience in business customer sales in the marketing and consulting of complex B2B solutions, as well as experience in the IT/TC industry, preferably with a provider of telecommunications or IT services.
- Comprehensive technical understanding of IT infrastructure, IoT connectivity, network security, and cloud architectures for developing viable end-to-end solutions.
- In-depth experience in the technical evaluation of feasibility and derivation of value propositions, in offer development, and in pre-sales project management to clearly present the business value for companies and convincingly position customer-specific solution concepts.
- Expertise in IoT Connectivity (LTE/5G/LPWA), eSIM/eUICC provisioning, remote SIM management, and network architectures, including technical and commercial aspects.
- Ability to create offers, business cases, and technical service descriptions, as well as analyze customer requirements and develop end-to-end solution architectures.
- First-class customer and sales orientation, presentation skills, strong communication skills in spoken and written German and English.
