You will take on the leadership of our analytical and AI platforms and actively shape the company's AI future.

You will develop scalable, secure data and AI infrastructures and ensure that all business areas can easily access data and AI. You will foster innovation, drive the further development of the platforms, and make analytics and AI a central tool for complex business decisions. With technical expertise, strategic vision, and leadership experience, you will lead your team and sustainably shape Telefónica's data and AI landscape.

• #Strategic Leadership: Strategic leadership and further development of company-wide AI and BI platforms to effectively leverage analytics and AI capabilities across all business areas.
• #Platform Management: Ensuring the functionality, scalability, and reliability of the platforms, as well as continuous optimization according to new technology trends and business requirements.
• #Enablement & Governance: Establishing guidelines, best practices, and frameworks for the use of AI and analytical tools to empower teams throughout the company to effectively utilize data and AI.
• #Market Analysis: Technological market analysis and evaluation of new products, tools, and frameworks to select, implement, and further develop the best platform solutions for the company.
• #AI Lifecycle Management: Planning, training, re-training, and adaptation of algorithms based on data, including clean lifecycle concepts for sustainable AI utilization.
• #Resource Management: Responsibility for resource planning, budget, and KPIs to ensure the efficiency, quality, and continuous development of the platforms.

What you bring

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in #Computer Science, #Data Science, #Engineering, #Telecommunications, or a comparable field.
• You have at least 10 years of experience in technology or IT functions, ideally in the telecommunications industry, successfully leading complex technology and data environments.
• You have initial #Leadership Experience and can develop, inspire, and strategically guide high-performing teams.
• You possess in-depth knowledge of #Data and #AI Architectures, master #AI Lifecycle Management (training, re-training, algorithm adaptation), and understand how platforms and AI solutions support #Business Strategy.
• You have proven success in building, #Scaling, and continuously optimizing complex data and AI platforms, including #Cloud Platforms (#AWS, #Azure, #GCP), and possess cross-functional knowledge in the telecommunications environment.
• You are experienced in the #Selection and #Implementation of new technologies and platforms, evaluate #Market Trends, weigh costs, benefits, and risks, and communicate confidently in #German and #English (#Spanish is a plus).
