As a Senior Account Manager, you will acquire and look after strategic key accounts and work independently in a home-based work model.

What to Expect
- Account Management: Independent account management in the key account sector (>1000 employees).
- Sales: Responsible for the sale of products and complex solutions in the areas of fixed-line, mobile, and digital services to achieve the set sales targets. This includes preparing and conducting offer discussions and negotiation meetings, as well as increasing and consolidating Telefónica's market share in Germany.
- Customer Acquisition: Acquisition of new potential key customers, including identifying new offer opportunities and managing relevant consulting companies.
- Customer Retention: Identification and sustainable development of high-revenue accounts, including appropriate communication at the decision-maker and awarding authority level.
- Offer Management: Overall responsibility for pipeline qualification, prioritization, and management of offers through the organization (including Legal, Pricing, etc.).
- Pricing: Responsibility for the offer and price strategy within the scope of creating offers.
- Stakeholder Management: Steering new product and solution requirements together with Business Consulting.
- Customer Needs Planning: Sales/commercial planning and development of the corresponding account portfolio.
What You Bring
- Technical/Scientific or Business Administration degree or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.
- Several years of professional experience in B2B key account management as well as experience in the IT/TC industry, preferably with a provider of telco or IT services.
- Several years of experience in new customer acquisition in the key account sector with demonstrable success, as well as in-depth experience in solution and project sales.
- Experience in the marketing of complex solutions in the areas of Mobile, 5G, IoT, corporate networks, SD-WAN, security, Cloud Services, etc.
- Experience in complex offer creation, including the preparation of relevant information for tendering.
- Very good technical and economic understanding of the mentioned solution areas.
- High degree of initiative and motivation, strong organizational skills, and general willingness to travel as needed.
- First-class presentation skills, communication strength in spoken and written German and English.
