Role: Business Developer (Presales - IT products)
We are looking for a Business Developer specialized in IT solutions such as Google Cloud to help grow and expand cloud services portfolio. In this role, you will combine technical solution expertise with business development and consultative sales, working closely with clients to design innovative cloud solutions.
You will play a key role in developing our Google Cloud business, building strong client relationships, and collaborating with internal sales teams and strategic partners to drive new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the sales organization (Inside Sales and Account Management) during early-stage client engagements as a subject matter expert.
- Build and expand client relationships within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
- Facilitate customer workshops to identify business vision, objectives, and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into tailored cloud solution concepts.
- Provide consultative guidance to clients on cloud technologies and machine learning initiatives.
- Actively strengthen strategic partnerships within the Google Cloud ecosystem and collaborate closely with partner sales teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Sales Management or Marketing), Computer Science, Information Systems, or a comparable field.
- Ideally professional experience in cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud.
- Experience in solution-based sales (consultative selling rather than product sales).
- Strong understanding of business development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills.
- Languages: German and English C1
