THE OPPORTUNITY & COMPENSATION

  • 100% Commission & Success-Fee Model: This is an independent contractor (freelance) role offering exceptional, uncapped income potential. You earn direct sales commissions on signed advisory mandates upfront, plus a significant share of the transaction success fees once the round or M&A deal closes.
  • Full Autonomy: 100% remote with a completely flexible schedule. You manage your own hours and run your pipeline like your own business.
  • Institutional Backing: You are not starting from scratch. You leverage Costa Norte's global brand, execution methodology, deep cross-border network, and warm access to global VCs, PEs, and Family Offices to maximize your closing potential.

THE ROLE

We are seeking Investment Associates who are natural dealmakers. In this role, you will manage your own front-end pipeline, driving both client acquisition (sourcing startups) and strategic investor matching.

This is not a back-office financial analyst role. It is a high-velocity, sales-driven, network-informed position designed for those who excel at opening doors and closing agreements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Acquisition & Mandate Sourcing: Identify and sign early-stage to growth-stage tech startups preparing to raise capital or pursue M&A. Take full ownership of the sales cycle from outreach to closing the engagement letter.
  • Investor Sourcing & Warm Introductions: Map our extensive network of global investors (VCs, Private Equity, Family Offices, and HNWIs) to your clients' profiles, initiate active outreach, and facilitate the initial warm introductions to kickstart the deal.
  • Ecosystem Networking: Build a robust, continuous deal flow through strategic partnerships, tech hubs, accelerators, and your own professional network.
  • Deal Strategy: Qualify prospects based on their market viability and capital readiness, presenting high-potential opportunities to the wider global team to collaborate on deal strategies.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Tech Ecosystem Fluency: Proven experience working within high-growth technology startups, venture capital, M&A, investment banking, or corporate B2B sales.
  • Deal Closing Track Record: Demonstrated ability to prospect, navigate complex corporate relationships, and close high-ticket service or advisory contracts.
  • Strong Entrepreneurial Drive: A hunter mindset with the hunger, discipline, and ownership required to scale an independent pipeline from a remote setting.
  • Network Cultivation: Ability to build trusted, peer-to-peer relationships with tech founders, executives, and institutional investors.
  • Communication: Exceptional presentation and relationship-management skills. Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a strong asset.
