Senior Backend Engineer (f/x/m) Checkout & After Sales in Tech & Data Team

About Us

We are Team Purchase Experience, part of the Tech & Data team at Thomann.io. Our mission is to create a checkout process that is a joy for our customers and seamless for our internal departments, even long after the equipment has been delivered.

We focus on refining the Thomann Checkout Funnel, integrating Payment Solutions, enabling complex Shipping Scenarios, and enhancing Self-Service capabilities for musicians worldwide. This is achieved through regular collaboration with other teams and departments outside of Thomann.io.

Our Team

Currently, our cross-functional team consists of 6 members:

• Software Engineers: Aryo, Andrew & Fabian collaborate on new features, technical concepts, bug fixes, writing tests, and sharing memes.
• Quality Engineer: Soli ensures confident feature releases.
• Product Owner: Josephine strategizes on customer satisfaction, manages the Jira Backlog & Stakeholders.
• Engineering Manager: Sven provides technical and personal support to remove blockers.

We innovate, evolve, and collaborate. To support our mission, we are looking for another Senior Software Engineer (f/x/m) proficient in PHP and related Backend Technologies.

Work Model

We work remotely, distributed, together. You can work fully remote within Germany or on-site in our offices in Berlin & Erlangen. We operate as a team, always customer-oriented and data-driven.
