Head of Business Development -- Renewable Energy

Location: Munich, Germany (Hybrid)

Employment: Full-time

We are seeking an experienced Head of Business Development to drive the commercial growth of a fast-growing renewable energy company. You will identify new market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships and lead major commercial negotiations across Germany and wider Europe.

Your Responsibilities

Develop and execute the company's business development strategy across the DACH region.
Identify new opportunities within renewable energy, battery storage and energy management.
Build relationships with project developers, EPCs, utilities, investors and commercial customers.
Establish strategic partnerships and new routes to market.
Lead complex commercial negotiations through to contract signature.
Build and manage a strong pipeline of long-term opportunities.
Conduct market, customer and competitor analysis.
Work closely with sales, product, engineering and senior leadership teams.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences and customer meetings.
Recruit, lead and develop the business development team as the company grows.

Your Background

Several years of business development or commercial experience within energy, renewables or a related technical industry.
Strong understanding of the German energy market.
Experience developing strategic partnerships and winning complex B2B opportunities.
Established network across developers, EPCs, utilities or commercial energy customers.
Strong negotiation, stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
Commercially driven, entrepreneurial and comfortable working in a fast-growing environment.
Willingness to travel when required.
