Senior Java Developer

My client blends deep engineering execution with a relentless focus on software quality and performance. They work as an embedded technical partner rather than a detached advisory firm, building high impact systems alongside their customers.

This is a role for engineers who want real ownership, strong technical influence, and the chance to shape modern backend architecture end to end.

What you will do

• Build and own high quality backend services using modern Java and Spring Boot
• Take full responsibility for delivery, performance, and long term maintainability
• Contribute actively to architecture discussions and technical decision making
• Work closely with teams as a trusted engineering partner, not just a consultant

Must have skills

• Strong Java experience, ideally Java 21 or above
• Spring Boot expertise
• Solid database knowledge and experience working with complex data driven systems
• Positive mindset, proactive collaboration, and end to end ownership of services

Nice to have

• Event driven microservices experience, Kafka is a bonus
• Kubernetes exposure
• Azure experience
• CI/CD knowledge, DevOps or tooling experience is a plus
