Interface Manager (m/f/d) – Offshore Wind / HVDC Projects

TIS is currently looking for an experienced Interface Manager (m/f/d) to support large-scale offshore wind and HVDC infrastructure projects in an international project environment.

📍 Location: Germany / Europe | Hybrid / Project-based

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical interfaces across multiple work packages, contractors, and engineering disciplines

  • Support package managers in the coordination of engineering and project execution activities

  • Manage interface processes between design, fabrication, installation, commissioning, and operations teams

  • Develop and maintain interface management tools, including:

    • Interface matrices
    • Responsibility matrices
    • Open points and interface tracking registers

  • Identify, track, and resolve interface-related technical issues and risks

  • Coordinate information exchange between contractors, suppliers, certification bodies, and project stakeholders

  • Provide technical oversight to ensure coherent and compliant project execution

  • Support interface-related discussions during project meetings and technical workshops

  • Ensure alignment with project schedule, technical requirements, QA/QC, HSE, and certification processes

  • Prepare technical reports, interface documentation, and decision support materials

  • Support project management with cross-package coordination and communication

Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering or a comparable technical background

  • Several years of experience in interface management, engineering coordination, or large infrastructure/offshore projects

  • Experience in offshore wind, HVDC, substations, or complex EPC/EPCI projects is highly preferred

  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering interfaces

  • Experience working with contractors, suppliers, and international project teams

  • Structured, solution-oriented, and proactive working style

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Fluent English required

  • German is an advantage
