About the Role

At Tomorrow, we have big plans! Our vision is to bring sustainable finance out of its niche and into the mainstream. It's a huge task, but we're ready to tackle it. As an accountant, you'll be part of our Accounting Team, working on accounting processes within the company. Depending on the needs, you'll collaborate with colleagues across different departments. Your responsibilities include both preliminary accounting (pre-accounting, verification, and recording of documents) and creditors accounting. You'll contribute to the monthly and annual financial statements to ensure they are completed on time. Additionally, you'll handle preliminary payroll accounting and collaborate with our external tax office.

What you can expect

As an accountant at Tomorrow, you'll work on real and important tasks: You'll ensure that accounting processes run smoothly, supporting the financial stability and transparency of our company. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams and develop your skills through mentoring and training.

Your responsibilities:

  • Monthly preliminary accounting (pre-accounting, verification, and recording of documents)
  • Responsibility for creditors accounting and monitoring outstanding payments
  • Preliminary payroll accounting and collaboration with the external tax office
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Point of contact for accounting matters within the company
  • Optimization of digital workflows
  • Maintenance and management of accounting records

What we're looking for

  • Completed training as a tax assistant or comparable accounting training
  • Professional experience and knowledge in financial accounting
  • An affinity for numbers and an independent, careful, and structured work approach
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Basic knowledge of DATEV Unternehmen Online and ideally Spend Management Systems
  • Excellent German and good English language skills
  • Bonus: you have an affinity for digital processes and paperless work
  • You support the vision of future banking and are passionate about making this vision a reality with us.

Salary

36,000 - 39,000 Euro gross annual salary (full-time equivalent), adjusted proportionally for 50% part-time.
