The Position
We are looking for an Inhouse Legal Counsel (m/f/d) as soon as possible.
The position is responsible for the professional handling of the company's legal issues with a focus on general contract law.
A varied range of tasks awaits you in our legal department, where you will be involved in cross-departmental projects from the beginning and take on responsibility early on. You will further develop your consulting personality and combine legal issues with economic thinking.
Start Date: As soon as possible by arrangement!
Location: 100% home office possible - nationwide!
Willingness to travel: Occasionally as needed!
Your Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and contractual relationships with new and existing business customers and suppliers for the national and international core business with a catchment area of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe
- Independent conduct of negotiations in direct external contact with customers and suppliers
- Professional handling of the company's legal issues and independent handling of projects in coordination with the Head of Division as direct supervisor
- Advising specialist and management staff on legal matters, particularly in contract law and general legal issues, for example by evaluating and assessing legal positions and risks, and by creating and updating internal documents
- Contract and process management, as well as management of external legal service providers at home and abroad
- Co-design of data protection and compliance management in the regulated business area
Your Profile
- Successfully completed first and second state examinations in law
- Efficient analytical thinking, precise communication skills, and the ability to pragmatically implement solutions
- Good communication skills, assertive and interest-oriented negotiation, as well as the ability to work in a team
- Holistic, structured, and independent way of working
- Very good German and at least good English skills, both written and spoken
- A workplace at one of our locations, or also gladly in home office with the willingness for occasional business trips
