Your Responsibilities:

• You will conduct incoming goods inspections, ensuring all parts meet the required standards.
• Dimensional and roughness testing are part of your daily routine, as is the proficient use of the necessary measuring instruments.
• You will professionally assess weld seams based on current standards and quality requirements.
• Inspection of components and assemblies is also within your area of responsibility.
• You will meticulously and clearly document quality defects and deviations.
• You will check certificates and references, ensuring all requirements are met.
• You will be actively involved in the complaint process with sub-suppliers, from creating and tracking defect reports to coordinating returns.
• Close coordination with interfaces such as purchasing, production, and work preparation is a matter of course for you.
• You will maintain quality-relevant data in the ERP system, ensuring its completeness and accuracy.
• Furthermore, you will actively contribute to the further development of our testing processes and drive improvements.

Your Profile:

• You have completed technical training, ideally supplemented by further training in quality management, such as a quality specialist or a comparable qualification.
• You have several years of professional experience in quality assurance, ideally in mechanical and plant engineering or a similar industry such as pharmaceuticals, medical, or food.
• You are familiar with common testing equipment and measuring techniques, working confidently and routinely with them.
• Additional qualification for visual inspection of weld seams according to ISO 9712 (VT-Level 1 or 2) is desirable but not mandatory.
• Confident handling of technical drawings and a deep understanding of form and position tolerances are fundamental to this position.
• You work in a structured and meticulous manner and readily take responsibility for your tasks.
• Teamwork and clear, open communication are important to you – you actively participate and seek exchange.
• Quality is of high importance to you, and you are motivated to continuously improve existing processes.
• You are familiar with ERP systems, especially SAP (ideally in the QM module).
• Your German language skills are fluent, and you can also communicate well in English.

What We Offer:

• 24.94 EUR/hour, remuneration according to GVP collective agreement + tariff supplements.
• Based on IG-Metall, you will receive higher holiday and Christmas bonuses.
