The Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Engineer to support customers on their cloud transformation journeys.
In this role, you will play a key part in migrating, modernising, and optimising workloads in Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with clients and cross-functional teams to design secure, scalable, and compliant cloud environments that unlock measurable business value.
This is a hands-on engineering role suited to someone passionate about cloud innovation, operational excellence, and delivering impactful customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud architectures aligned to customer needs
- Support and guide customers in migrating workloads to cloud-native environments
- Optimise infrastructure through modern Azure services and best practices
- Promote system reliability through observability, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and quality
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using automation tools such as Terraform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Enable and support cloud-native application platforms, including container and serverless environments
Your Profile
- Strong background in software development with solid knowledge of development methodologies and tooling
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)
- Networking & Security
- Container orchestration (AKS)
- Serverless computing
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and automation practices
- Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and DevOps practices
- Azure certifications and familiarity with the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) are advantageous
- Curious mindset with enthusiasm for learning and sharing knowledge
- Collaborative approach to problem-solving
- Fluent in German and English (required)
