At IONOS, we are building a senior enterprise sales department focused on achieving long-term growth through strategic deals, complex negotiations, and impactful partnerships in the domain space.

This position in enterprise sales and business development is suitable for someone who enjoys opening new doors, shaping deals from the ground up, and closing commercially significant agreements with high-level decision-makers.

You will act as a senior employee with real ownership - you will unlock new business opportunities, expand existing corporate relationships, and help define the commercialization of domains at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Expansion of a multi-million euro corporate pipeline with direct responsibility for generating new revenue and long-term customer base expansion.
  • Leading complex enterprise sales cycles with partners, suppliers, and strategic customers, including multi-year contracts, pricing models, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proactively creating new business opportunities - identifying market gaps, structuring new commercial offerings, and executing deals from concept to close.
  • Driving strategic customer growth and expanding existing relationships through upselling, cross-selling, and new monetization models, rather than focusing on passive account management.
  • Collaborating closely with product, marketing, and sales leadership to shape how domain products and visibility are positioned and monetized on IONOS platforms.
  • Acting as a commercial leader and mentor within a small team, setting standards for deal quality, negotiation strategies, and enterprise sales discipline.
  • Confidently representing IONOS to your C-level and VP-level peers, both internally and externally.

This is a position for someone who wants to build revenue engines, not just manage relationships.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in partner management or a similar role, ideally in the domain industry.
  • Solid experience in enterprise sales, strategic business development, or complex B2B partnerships, ideally in technology, platforms, SaaS, infrastructure, or digital ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated success in originating and closing complex, high-value deals with senior-level stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen - you understand pricing, margins, leverage, and negotiation dynamics, and can confidently defend value.
  • The confidence to constructively challenge partners and walk away from deals that do not make strategic or economic sense.
  • Experience navigating complex internal organizations, influencing product, legal, finance, and operations.
  • The ambition and maturity to operate as a senior enterprise sales professional with autonomy and accountability.
  • Fluent German and English skills (essential).
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
