Area Sales Manager Europe (m/f/d)

This is a responsible, highly market-oriented sales role with significant operational presence in the clinical environment. The focus is on active market development, direct customer contact, and the successful placement of complex medical technology solutions. We are specifically seeking sales professionals -- regardless of formal career level -- who want to work closely with products, customers, and the market, and actively contribute to expanding our presence in Europe.

Your Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for sales in selected European focus markets and actively drive the implementation of our European sales and product strategy.
  • You will be regularly on-site with customers -- particularly in the clinical environment and operating rooms -- experiencing our products where they are used daily.
  • You will build and strategically develop sustainable relationships with clinics, reference centers, and key opinion leaders.
  • You will manage, guide, and develop dealers and distribution partners, successfully implementing market activities together.
  • You will provide technical support to our customers, OR teams, and sales partners in the application of our surgical systems.
  • You will place and expand our capital goods and accompanying consumables in the market.
  • You will oversee product launches, reference installations, and pilot projects, ensuring successful market entry.
  • You will continuously analyze market, competitor, and customer feedback, deriving concrete measures from this analysis.
  • You will work closely with internal interfaces such as Marketing, Product Management, and Application.
  • You will ensure reliable reporting and manage pipeline and forecasts for your territory.

Your Profile:

  • You have experience in selling medical technology or similarly complex products.
  • You have a genuine interest in surgical applications and clinical processes and can confidently converse with our customers.
  • You communicate confidently at eye level -- with both customers and sales partners.
  • You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner, maintaining an overview even in complex situations.
  • You are willing to travel internationally and appreciate working close to the market.
  • You have very good written and spoken English skills; additional languages are a plus.
