Freelance Senior QA Engineer (Mobile)

As a member of the Unzer Unified POS team, you will play a pivotal role in testing Unzer's mobile POS applications for Android and iOS. You will focus on elevating service quality and ensuring seamless functionality.

The mobile applications interact with a variety of hardware components, such as barcode scanners, receipt printers, and card payment terminals.

• Architect, develop, and maintain test automation using Sauce Labs, primarily with TypeScript
• Design and maintain test plans for existing and new application features, and integrate them with Xray and Jira
• Execute, maintain, and improve test cases in Xray, and enhance their integration into workflows
• Test setups that include peripheral hardware such as card payment terminals, receipt printers, and barcode scanners
• Test inter-device communication between multiple in-house applications, such as customer-facing displays or helper applications for gastronomy
• Develop and maintain cross-team test scenarios, including API communication and database operations
• Leverage AI Tools: Actively use and adapt AI tools in daily QA tasks, exploring innovative solutions and maintaining a curiosity-driven approach
• Collaborate with developers and product owners to achieve optimal test coverage, focus on E2E multiplatform testing coverage but also system tests that reach a realistic experience of the customers & merchants
• Engage in code reviews to uphold coding standards and improve overall code quality
• Conduct Multi-Environment Testing: Execute tests across various environments to ensure robustness and compatibility
