The Opportunity
We're recruiting for an experienced German-speaking Guidewire Business Analyst to join a major insurance transformation programme delivering large-scale Guidewire solutions for a leading organisation in Germany.
This is a fantastic long-term contract opportunity for a Business Analyst who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams and technical specialists to shape and deliver complex Guidewire implementations.
Working remotely from anywhere within the EU, you'll become a key member of a high-profile programme helping drive the successful evolution of core insurance platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders to capture, analyse and document functional and business requirements.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and user stories.
- Support the design and implementation of Guidewire solutions across insurance operations.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements sessions with business and technical teams.
- Analyse existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and improvement.
- Collaborate closely with Solution Architects, Developers, Test Teams and Product Owners throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support system integration activities and ensure business requirements are accurately implemented.
- Assist with UAT planning, execution, defect management and business acceptance.
- Produce functional documentation, process flows, use cases and other project artefacts.
- Act as the key liaison between business users, delivery teams and third-party partners.
Required Experience
- Proven Business Analysis experience delivering Guidewire InsuranceSuite projects.
- Strong functional knowledge of Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter.
- Previous experience within Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance environments.
- Solid understanding of insurance policy administration, claims and core insurance processes.
- Experience gathering requirements and documenting business processes within enterprise transformation programmes.
- Knowledge of Guidewire workflows, business rules, integrations and functional configuration.
- Experience supporting testing activities including UAT, defect triage and business validation.
- Comfortable working alongside development, architecture and QA teams throughout delivery.
- Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies, with exposure to Waterfall projects considered beneficial.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills across both business and IT teams.
