Head of IT - Germany (m/f/d)

As Head of IT - Germany (m/f/d), you will play a key role in driving this transformation and making a real impact.

Your tasks:

• Define and execute the local IT strategy in alignment with global corporate IT, including governance and standards
• Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient operation of all IT infrastructure, applications, and key business systems (SAP, production, e-commerce, Office365)
• Lead, develop, and mentor the IT team (~ 5 team members) while fostering a modern, collaborative, and agile work culture
• Manage IT budgeting, cost control, and financial planning in partnership with Finance
• Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring high-quality delivery and contributing to global initiatives and continuous process improvement
• Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and audit standards
• Manage IT vendors and service providers, including contract oversight, SLA management, and performance evaluation

Who we are looking for:

• University degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, MBA beneficial
• Several years of IT leadership experience in international or matrix organizations, including managing teams of similar size (~ 5 team members)
• Deep expertise in SAP (ideally manufacturing), production and e-commerce systems, Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, IT governance, and modern infrastructure (network, server, virtualization, cloud)
• Proven track record in IT project management, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders and external vendors
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities paired with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken

• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with agility, adaptability, and a drive for execution and continuous improvement
