Data Analytics Engineer (w/m/d) - Hannover

Requirements

Must have:

• 3--5 years of relevant professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Senior Data Analyst
• Good SQL skills and a high standard for code quality and maintainability
• Sound experience in handling large amounts of data, data integration, and data quality
• Practical experience with dbt or comparable transformation and orchestration tools
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery
• Interest in taking on analytics responsibility and actively contributing to shaping processes
• Confident communication in German (C1) -- written and spoken

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for stable, performant ELT processes on modern cloud data platforms
• Develop and operate scalable data pipelines and transformations with dbt
• Ensure high data quality
• Develop data models that directly answer business and control questions
• Close collaboration with business departments, supporting operational control and identifying relevant deviations and trends
• Advise internal stakeholders on data-related issues and translate requirements into sustainable analytics solutions
• Share knowledge within the team, establish best practices, and create technical documentation for efficient use of data products
• Work pragmatically, solution-oriented, and independently or together with the community on challenges
