Data Analytics Engineer (w/m/d) Remote - Dresden

Requirements

Must have:

• 3--5 years of relevant professional experience as an Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or Senior Data Analyst
• Strong SQL skills and a high standard for code quality and maintainability
• Profound experience in handling large datasets, data integration, and data quality
• Practical experience with dbt or comparable transformation and orchestration tools
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or BigQuery
• Interest in taking on analytics responsibility and actively contributing to shaping processes
• Confident communication in German (C1) – written and spoken

Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for stable, performant ELT processes on modern cloud data platforms
• Development and operation of scalable data pipelines and transformations with dbt
• Ensuring high data quality
• Development of data models that directly answer business and control questions
• Close collaboration with business departments to support operational control
• Independent identification of relevant deviations and trends
• Advising internal stakeholders on data-related issues and translating requirements into sustainable analytics solutions
• Sharing knowledge within the team and establishing best practices
• Creating technical documentation for efficient use of data products
• Pragmatic and solution-oriented work, as well as independent or joint problem-solving
