About the Role

As vCluster Labs' Sr. Solutions Engineer, you will be the technical architect of the sales cycle, identifying, navigating, and solving complex challenges for the world's leading organizations. You will sell a technical platform that solves critical problems for Engineering, DevOps, Security, and Data leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Technical Leadership: Lead technical sales engagements and own the "Technical Win." Partner with Account Executives to craft tailored solutions for Kubernetes environments.
  • POC Execution: Manage the technical lifecycle from discovery to proof of concept (POC) implementation, demonstrating Loft Labs' products (vCluster Pro, DevPod Pro) and addressing customer queries.
  • Value Engineering: Articulate a clear "Business Value Assessment" (BVA) that connects technical capabilities to customer's financial goals.
  • Multi-Threaded Engagement: Build consensus across technical champions and executive economic buyers in complex organizations.
  • Lifecycle Continuity: Assist in transitioning new accounts to the Customer Success team, acting as a best practice and technical advisor.
  • Methodical Qualification: Understand and qualify opportunities using frameworks like MEDDPICC or Command of the Message.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 7 years in a technical role, with at least 3 years in solutions engineering or sales engineering.
  • Technical Aptitude: "Technically fluent" with a strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and cloud-native technologies. Able to discuss tech stacks, workflows, and pain points with senior technical leaders.
  • Methodology Master: Proficient in sales methodologies like MEDDPICC/MEDDIC for deal qualification and risk mitigation.
  • Start-Up Grit: Experience in a high-growth environment (Series B to IPO phase), comfortable with ambiguity, and proactive in building processes.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Bonus Points

  • Domain Expertise: Proven track record selling complex SaaS/PaaS solutions. Experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, Data, Observability, or Cybersecurity is highly preferred.
  • Hands-On Skills: Relevant certifications (e.g., CKA, CKAD). Experience with virtual Kubernetes clusters and multi-tenancy solutions.
  • Startup Experience: Experience in an early-stage organization, functioning autonomously and building towards a common goal.
  • Community: Contributions to open-source projects, especially in the Kubernetes ecosystem.

Compensation Range: €100K - €120K
