Job Description
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Key Account Manager will manage brands on the BrandsPlace (VEEPEE Marketplace) daily. This includes ensuring offer animation (analysis, improvement, planning) aligns with revenue targets and service levels. The role also involves business development to increase seller numbers on BrandsPlace through prospecting, pitching, selling, and negotiating deals.
Tasks
- Develop and maintain trusting relationships with brands through daily management, including calls, visits, newsletters, and KPI presentations.
- Enhance marketplace presence and performance by planning (annual business plans) and animating the offer (events, themes, optimizing catalog mix – stock, reference, price, etc.).
- Analyze brand performance within the category and report KPIs to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other marketplace roles (brand support, business developer, e-merchandiser) and internal departments to ensure quality service and excellent member experience.
- Prospect and identify new sellers, initiating contact and managing the process from pitch to contract signing.
- Serve as the daily point of contact for strategic, operational, and technical inquiries.
- Proactively implement initiatives to develop or optimize Marketplace team activities and business.
- Coordinate with international KAMs to improve performance and animate the offer of import and export sellers.
Must-Have Skills
- Higher education in business or marketing.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a similar role, preferably in e-commerce, multi-brand, or marketplace sectors.
- Customer service-oriented and business-minded.
- Organized, rigorous, proactive, and agile.
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in German and English.
- Proficiency in Excel.
