About the Role

Do you love turning data into decisions that shape products used by millions? As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll work at the intersection of data, product, and engineering to build models, insights, and experimentation frameworks that directly influence a global consumer platform. Your work will help teams understand users better, optimise experiences, and drive measurable business impact.

What You'll Do:

  • Drive Impact with Data: Develop and deploy statistical models and machine learning solutions that solve real product and business problems at scale.
  • Turn Insights into Action: Translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that inform product strategy, growth initiatives, and operational decisions.
  • Own Experimentation: Design, run, and analyse A/B tests and experiments, ensuring rigorous methodology and trustworthy conclusions.
  • Partner Across Teams: Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define success metrics, shape roadmaps, and embed data into decision-making.
  • Model with Rigor: Apply advanced statistical techniques and machine learning methods, balancing sophistication with interpretability and real-world impact.
  • Build for Scale: Contribute to scalable data science workflows, reusable features, and production-ready models that integrate seamlessly into the wider data platform.

The Team:

You'll join a highly collaborative, product-focused data team that plays a central role in how the company builds, evaluates, and improves its products. The team values curiosity, ownership, and pragmatic problem-solving --- and works hand-in-hand with engineering and product to ensure data science drives outcomes, not just dashboards. Here, data scientists have real influence and clear visibility of their impact.

What They're Looking For:

  • 3+ years of experience in data science, applied statistics, or machine learning in a product-driven environment
  • Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and causal inference
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying machine learning models in production
  • Excellent SQL skills and strong proficiency in Python
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets and modern data platforms
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven track record of influencing product or business decisions with data
  • Bonus: Experience in marketplaces, consumer tech, or high-growth digital products

What They Offer:

Competitive salary and:

  • Hybrid working setup with 2 days per week in the office
  • Personal development budget + 2 annual learning days
  • Up to 8 weeks per year working remotely from international offices
  • Discounted premium gym membership
  • Bonus, pension, private healthcare
  • Significant discounts on properties across their own platform
  • Wellness Program
