Your Responsibilities
You will be responsible for the strategic introduction and further development of the future Enterprise Integration Platform (e.g., MuleSoft, Workato, SAP Integration Suite). Your tasks include:
- Responsibility for the vision, strategy, introduction, operation, and further development of the integration platform.
- Definition of integration architecture and standards for API, event, and system integration in collaboration with Enterprise Architects.
- Building, maintaining, and prioritizing the product backlog for integration services, APIs, events, and connectors.
- Translating business requirements into integration requirements (business departments, IT, architecture).
- Establishing integration governance (naming conventions, versioning, security, logging, monitoring).
- Managing internal/external development teams with a focus on quality, reusability, and stability.
- Acting as a liaison between Enterprise Architects, Security, Data Platform, and application owners.
- Promoting a modern integration culture and best practices within the company.
- Leading IT projects, including stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and progress communication.
Your Profile
- Excellent German and English language skills.
- Completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Integration Architect, or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP), API design, and event-based integration.
- Understanding of REST, SOAP, Messaging (Kafka, MQ), Event-Driven Architecture, Cloud/Hybrid Integration, and ETL/ELT basics.
- Practical experience in the introduction and operation of integration platforms (MuleSoft, SAP Integration Suite, Informatica, Boomi, Azure/AWS).
- Knowledge of API management (OAuth2, OIDC, Rate Limiting, Versioning).
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and enterprise IT landscapes (ERP, CRM, PIM, MDM).
- Structured, independent, and solution-oriented approach with strong analytical and communication skills.
- High assertiveness combined with a strong team orientation.
