This is a hybrid position with three days per week in our Berlin office (at Alexanderplatz).

What Will You Do

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP, ensuring timely and accurate reporting

• Oversee GL, AP, and Intercompany (IC) activities, including booking, payments, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with group policies

• Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are completed on time and drive the timely resolution of open items

• Coordinate and support statutory audits and tax filings across international entities, including IFRS to Local GAAP bridging

• Own and manage intercompany processes, ensuring alignment across entities and resolving discrepancies efficiently

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., controlling, tax, treasury) to ensure smooth financial operations and alignment on accounting topics

• Drive continuous improvements, standardization, and automation of accounting processes and internal controls

• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, providing guidance on day-to-day activities and fostering accountability
