Vertragsmanager:in / Contract Manager (w/m/d)

Your Role in the Team

In the Customer Project Execution department, you will accompany wind farm projects from contract signing to final acceptance. Together with colleagues from logistics, purchasing, finance, sales, and legal, you will ensure that our projects are implemented safely, on time, and within budget -- while meeting the highest quality standards. As Contract Manager, you will protect Vestas' commercial interests during the construction phase. You will advise the project team on contractual and economic issues and make a significant contribution to the safe and timely realization of our wind farms.

What to Expect

• Responsibility for all commercial and contractual matters during the construction phase
• Coordination of contract management activities within the project team
• Advising internal stakeholders on obligations and entitlements from turbine supply agreements and other project-related contracts
• Support in enforcing claims against clients and subcontractors
• Ensuring clean contract-relevant communication and documentation
• Identification and assessment of risks, as well as derivation of suitable measures
• Participation in contract negotiations and continuous improvement of our processes

What You Bring

• A completed degree in business law, law (full legal qualification not required), or a comparable field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in contract or project management in the construction or energy sector (industry experience not strictly required)
• Knowledge of German Civil Code (BGB) and contract law
• Very good German and good English language skills
• Structured, solution-oriented approach and teamwork skills
• Willingness to travel up to 20%

Additional Information

The position can be based in Hamburg or Berlin; Husum or Vienna are also possible alternatives. In this role, you will have up to 20 travel days per year.
