As a Development Engineer for Ventilation Systems, you will develop devices and systems for (residential) room ventilation.

Location: Paderborn

Contract Type: Permanent position with our client

Responsibilities

• As a Development Engineer for Ventilation Systems, you will bear technical responsibility for the future development of ventilation devices and heat recovery systems.
• You will define and update device specifications in close cooperation with Sales and Production.
• The initial focus will be on the technical development of a new device family.
• Planning and managing product developments up to series production/market launch are part of your responsibilities.
• You will coordinate with a small international research and development team.
• Furthermore, you will create and validate requirements specifications (Lasten- und Pflichtenhefte).
• You will evaluate technical calculations and specifications of devices and complete systems.
• The development of business plans together with Sales and the further development of new and existing products are also part of your responsibilities.
• You will participate in the selection of suitable suppliers, including make-or-buy decisions.
• You will also create concepts, analyses, and samples for internal and external product presentations.
• You will be the technical point of contact for customer inquiries and will participate in customer, supplier, and project meetings.

Your Profile

• Completed degree and experience as an HVAC engineer or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the development of products in the field of residential ventilation
• Experience in the design and function of heat recovery devices as well as their construction and design
• Experience in the planning and design of ventilation systems
• Sound knowledge of the control systems and sensor technology of ventilation devices
• Knowledge of product development and experience with systematic product development processes
• Good German and English skills
