As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and operation of Linux operating systems.

Location: Munich

Contract Type: Permanent position with our client

Tasks

• As a LINUX System Administrator, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and operation of infrastructure with Linux operating systems such as RHEL, AlmaLinux, Ubuntu, etc.
• You will monitor system availability and load balancing with suitable monitoring tools and create scripts for process automation.
• You will continuously update systems (update and patch management) and distribute software.
• You will be available for support within the team - you will use Jira for this.
• You will document your work in Confluence.

Your Profile

• At least 3 years of professional experience in LINUX system administration of servers and clients
• Experience in virtualization, preferably with vSphere
• Network knowledge, e.g. routing, firewall, proxy, certificates, VPN
• Experience in supporting SQL databases and creating shell scripts
• Knowledge in NetApp administration is desirable
• Good German and English skills
