Software Architect / Team Lead Frontend (m/f/d)

As a Software Architect / Team Lead Frontend, you will take on a responsible role in developing the frontends for various applications.

Location: Mannheim Contract Type: Permanent position with our client

Responsibilities

• As a Software Developer / Team Lead React, Angular, you will play a responsible role in developing the frontends for various applications.
• You will provide technical leadership for an international team primarily developing frontends using React and partially using Angular. The underlying complex product is built on the Microsoft software stack and is used by a large customer base.
• You will evaluate new technologies, make architectural decisions, and coordinate with teams, working with UX/UI designers and product owners to continuously improve user experience.
• You will contribute to improving development processes and best practices (e.g., Git code repositories, Clean Code, DevOps, QA, documentation, OOD principles, etc.).

Your Profile

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Frontend Software (Lead) Engineer or Frontend Software Architect.
• Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend architectures.
• Experience integrating frontends with .NET Core / .NET 6+ backends (REST APIs, ideally also gRPC).
• Deep understanding of state management (e.g., Redux, NgRx) and reactive programming models.
• Experience with automated frontend testing (e.g., Jest, Cypress) and understanding of CI/CD concepts, as well as experience collaborating with DevOps and Cloud teams (e.g., Azure DevOps) is beneficial.
• Good German and English language skills.
