About the Role
Via is seeking a Business Development Intern to support our growth by identifying new opportunities and bringing our TransitTech vision to markets across the DACH region. You will gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, marketing, and the on-demand mobility sector, contributing to Via's mission of providing efficient, sustainable, and inclusive transportation solutions.
What you'll do
- Develop a deep understanding of Via's technology and effectively communicate its value to diverse stakeholders, including public transport authorities, municipalities, corporate partners, school networks, and regional operators.
- Assist with lead generation and initial outreach in German-speaking markets to identify organizations facing mobility challenges that Via can address.
- Conduct in-depth market research to analyze local mobility priorities, existing service models, regulatory frameworks, funding opportunities, and emerging trends. Translate these insights into strategic recommendations and actionable partner conversations.
- Support early-stage sales processes by preparing essential materials such as funding research, proposal drafts, opportunity briefs, and initial business cases.
- Contribute to shaping Via's regional narrative by developing localized case studies, marketing collateral, and engaging webinars or events.
About You
- Currently pursuing a university degree (3rd year or beyond) with a strong desire for practical learning. A background in Business Administration, Marketing, International Business, Entrepreneurship, or a related field is advantageous, but other areas of study are also welcome.
- Native-level fluency in German and excellent command of English, both written and verbal.
- A creative and analytical problem-solver, capable of thinking quickly and translating insights into action.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Open to feedback and driven by the opportunity to make a significant impact early in your career.
