Your Responsibilities

The SAP Services department is responsible for the stable operation, maintenance, and continuous development of our central SAP platform, including SAP S/4HANA (Business Partner, FS-CD, BIS, FAM, S&P, FI/CO) and SAP Data Warehouse on HANA with SAP Analytics Cloud. These systems support business-critical processes from partner and investment management to payment transactions, accounting, controlling, and regulatory requirements like anti-money laundering.

As the central point of contact for all SAP components, you will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. This includes cross-client system maintenance and development, providing meaningful data warehouse evaluations, and close collaboration with software vendors and external service providers.

As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will develop, operate, and manage SAP solutions following the DevOps principle: from analyzing business requirements to implementing performant, maintainable code, automated testing, quality assurance, establishing development standards, and managing external developers.

Your specific tasks:

• SAP software development (primarily for SAP FS-CD, occasionally for SAP FI) following the DevOps model: "You build it, you run it."
• Analyze business requirements and optimize technical solutions for scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Design test strategies, advance test automation, and ensure technical and business quality.
• Develop, establish, and enhance development standards, including structured code reviews.
• Coordinate external technology partners.
• Participate in SAP-related projects.

Your Profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
• Several years of in-depth experience with object-oriented ABAP development, adhering to modern development principles in an SAP S/4HANA environment.
• Ideally, knowledge of SAP FS-CD or SAP FI components, and SAP interface technologies (e.g., SOAP, REST, RFC).
• Very good German language skills (C2) and good English language skills.
