Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe which will be production-ready from 2026. As part of this expansion, we are looking for a Project Manager to the Wafer Operations Director (m/w/d)\n\n## Location\n\nThe role requires a presence on site in Itzehoe, with a possibility to work approximately 2 days / week from home office.\n\n## What you will do:\n\n* Lead an engineering project team for the commissioning of the new 300mm semiconductor chip factory\n* Ensure compliance with time and cost schedules, resource deployment and planning including setting priorities\n* Report within and outside the project organization\n* Coordinate technical and structural preparations for production startup\n* Coordinate product transfer from 200mm to 300mm wafers, collaboration with other project groups\n* Collaboration with existing fabs/foundries\n\n## Your Profile\n\n* Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a comparable field with a focus on Semiconductor Technology/Physics or Microelectronics\n* Experience in project management and in leading employees\n* Professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing\n* Experience in the 300mm environment is desirable\n* Strong communication skills\n* Excellent English and German, both written and spoken\n* Hands-on mentality, independent and solution-oriented working style, analytical thinking, quality awareness\n\n## What We Offer:\n\nVishay offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including financial support and additional opportunities to help you achieve your personal and professional goals.
