Role Overview
We are looking for a technology-driven Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to support the design and delivery of intralogistics automation projects based on industrial mobile robots (AGV/AMR).
You will work closely with sales teams, customers, and internal engineering teams to design technical solutions, prepare proposals, and support the bidding process for logistics automation projects. This role combines technical solution design, customer interaction, and proposal engineering in the field of warehouse automation.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Solution Design
- Collaborate with the sales team and customer stakeholders (operations, engineering, IT) to understand project requirements.
- Design warehouse logistics automation solutions using AGV/AMR and related technologies.
- Develop system layouts, workflows, and solution concepts tailored to customer operations.
Pre-Sales & Bid Support
- Prepare technical proposals and tender documentation
- Support sales teams during customer presentations, technical discussions, and bid clarification meetings.
Internal Project Coordination
- Transfer project knowledge to the internal project delivery and commissioning teams.
- Provide training and technical briefings on solution design, acceptance criteria, and project timelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, Logistics Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to design automation solutions and workflows for logistics environments.
- Proficiency with engineering and visualization tools such as CAD, simulation, or animation software.
- Strong proficiency with standard office and documentation tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer-facing abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales, engineering, and project teams
- Experience in industrial mobile robotics (AGV/AMR), warehouse automation, or automation system integration.
- Previous experience in pre-sales engineering, solution design, or technical proposal preparation is strongly preferred.
Languages
- Fluent English required.
- Fluent German or Spanish required.
