About the Dual Study Program: Business Informatics (DHBW Lörrach)

In this dual study program, you'll bridge theory and practice. You will study for three months at DHBW Lörrach and then apply your knowledge during practical phases at Vitra. The focus is on developing and integrating business and technical applications, ranging from classic programming to web-based and mobile applications, as well as interface management. Later in your studies, you will delve into topics such as Digital Transformation, IT Security, Data Science, and Software Engineering. During your practical phases, you will rotate through various IT departments, including Workplace Services & Engineering, Infrastructure Services, Operations Applications, and Sales Applications, working on current challenges through projects.

What You'll Bring:

• Successfully completed general university entrance qualification (allgemeine Hochschulreife) or subject-restricted university entrance qualification (fachgebundene Hochschulreife).
• Interest in computer science and business contexts.
• Analytical thinking skills and a structured approach to work.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
• Good mathematical skills and ideally initial experience with programming or IT systems.
• Fluent German and good English language skills.
