Your Responsibilities

• You will support our Kiel team in the development and optimization of our service.
• You will maintain and develop our Linux-based server infrastructure and the software landscape running on it.
• You will be responsible for the deployment of services in Docker containers.
• You will drive automation and containerization forward, contributing your own ideas.
• You will monitor the latest developments and proactively introduce new technologies.
• You will work closely with our development and IT project management teams and coordinate system integration with our clients.
• You will continue the documentation of the server landscape.

What You Bring

• A completed degree in computer science or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist for system integration, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in Linux server administration.
• Experience with Docker and the deployment of containers (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Experience in the conception, development, and implementation of high-performance and secure infrastructures in the areas of hosting, service, and system administration.
• Knowledge of networks, encryption, firewalls/load balancers, web hosting, and databases.
• Experience with monitoring a server infrastructure.
• A high degree of responsibility and the ability to work independently.
