Über uns

For the development of a new residential area (approx. 5,000 new inhabitants), an experienced civil engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on clash detection planning is sought. Several business units work together in the project (including telecommunications, electricity, water, district heating, sewage/disposal). The specialist planning is carried out separately in the respective areas.

Position: Civil Engineer - Clash Detection Planning for Utility Networks (m/f/d)

Start: from mid-March

Workload: Part-time

Duration: 3 months with option for extension

Location: Konstanz

Tasks

Tasks:

  • Consolidation and overlay of specialist plans (telecommunications, electricity, water, district heating, sewage, etc.)
  • Operational execution of clash detection in the route and pipeline area
  • Identification of technical conflicts and coordination of necessary relocations
  • Coordination and consultation with internal specialist departments and external stakeholders (including disposal companies)
  • Close collaboration with civil engineers and pipe hydraulics experts in the project
  • Structured preparation of planning results for each construction section
  • Transfer of coordinated planning into consolidated bills of quantities (LV)
  • Ensuring that all specialist plans are available on time and in full by the defined deadline
  • External project management perspective with a focus on interface clarification and transparency

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Completed studies in civil engineering with a focus on civil engineering or comparable qualification
  • Several years of sound experience as a civil engineer in infrastructure or development projects
  • Demonstrable experience in clash detection planning for complex pipeline and route projects
  • Experience in the development of new residential areas is desirable
  • Very good understanding of pipeline infrastructures (district heating, telecommunications, electricity, water, sewage)
  • Confident use of GIS and CAD systems for operational clash detection
  • Ideally, experience with Smallworld and/or Lovion (not a must)
  • Experience in the creation or consolidation of bills of quantities
  • Seniority required -- independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
