IT System Administrator (m/f/d)

Location: Vaihingen (Stuttgart) Remote: 2 days per week home office possible Employment Type: Direct placement / permanent employment contract

Your Responsibilities:

• Administration, planning, and installation of Windows and Linux-based server and storage systems -- both physical and virtualized
• Operation, monitoring, and further development of central server infrastructures and IT services (including Active Directory, Single Sign-On, Identity Management)
• Provisioning and support of virtualized work environments and applications
• Integration of new business applications into existing IT system landscapes
• Participation in and leadership of IT projects, selection and introduction of new technologies, and definition of technical frameworks
• Support with requirements analysis, market observation, bid evaluation, and creation of comparison calculations for IT procurement
• Review of license models and contract conditions

Your Profile:

• Completed degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics or comparable qualification
• Sound knowledge of Windows servers as well as optionally Linux and/or experience in automating system updates (e.g., via scripting or configuration management)
• Confident handling of system software, associated services, and in-depth knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls) and IT security policies
• Experience in the operation and integration of IT systems in complex, heterogeneous infrastructures
• Basic knowledge in the procurement of hardware and software, including market knowledge and license review
• Practical experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
• Ability to create technical documentation, comparative analyses, and procurement documents
• Analytical thinking, structured working method, and strong communication skills
• Driving license Class B
