Your Responsibilities

Are you looking to build a career as a System Support Engineer? Do you have experience troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft products, hardware, and networks, as well as administering Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory?

Join our IT Operations team, reporting to the System Support Manager. You will handle technical support requests, liaise with other engineers, and assist in maintaining network security. Your role will involve using our ticketing system to triage, troubleshoot, and direct requests.

Key Tasks:

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues, ensuring efficient and effective resolution.
  • Liaise directly with end-users to resolve problems and maximize user satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team to triage problems, resolve them directly, escalate, or reassign as needed.
  • Log technical support requests via phone or email.
  • Utilize remote control tools to assist end-users.
  • Adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Onboard new starters with an overview of our systems.
  • Document systems and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other teams and participate in projects as required.
  • Occasionally travel to other UK offices and events for on-site support.

Your Profile

  • Previous experience in an IT support role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting software (Windows 10/11), networks (wired/Wi-Fi), and hardware fault diagnosis.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft 365 (deployment, troubleshooting, Mail Flow Analysis).
  • Experience administering Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory, including Group Policy management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Windows 10 and Mac OS X; Mac OS X experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Applications is desirable.
  • Previous experience with and knowledge of GDPR is highly desirable.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, record-keeping, prioritization, and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong administration skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, proactive, with excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong interpersonal skills for positive stakeholder relationships and a supportive user experience.
  • Calm, patient, and empathetic approach with adaptability and flexibility.
  • Ability to work independently, think critically, and know when to seek guidance or escalate issues.
  • Passion for learning new tools and technologies.
  • Willingness to travel to other UK offices and events as required.
