Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the video production team (1 Senior Video Producer and 1 Assistant Video Producer) to deliver high-quality content aligned with organizational objectives. This includes setting clear goals, effective task delegation, fostering collaboration, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources and support.
- Promote professional growth within the team through coaching and feedback, maintain a positive and creative work environment, and resolve conflicts promptly to keep projects on track.
- Create video content across all divisions and brands at William Reed.
- Manage each project, liaising directly with internal clients, suggesting creative solutions, and developing creative video concepts. This also includes managing the project events calendar, resources, and stakeholders.
- Advise internal clients on appropriate creative approaches for their video or animation requirements.
- Contribute to the early stages of production, focusing on creative concepts and production logistics.
- Take responsibility for video recording and editing of conference sessions, videos, interviews, and other engaging video content.
- Conduct and facilitate interviews with internal and external stakeholders, key speakers, and sponsors.
- Record video and audio content on location (when necessary) or remotely (e.g., via StreamYard).
- Production: Operate broadcast-quality cameras on location; prepare equipment for shoots, set up lighting, shots, and scenes, then shoot live videos.
- Post-Production: Edit professional-standard projects to completion using WR-approved software such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, and Artlist.
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
- Independently plan, shoot, and edit video content without micro-management.
- Produce animation sequences and motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
- Become an expert user of our in-house kit.
- Maintain excellent organization and provide prompt communication to internal clients.
- Track and record performance excellence, meeting targets and objectives.
Your Profile:

We are seeking a Video Production Manager for our Digital Operations division to ensure the timely creation and delivery of high-quality video, audio, and multimedia content across all brands. You will support two direct reports, manage the end-to-end production process, drive creative innovation, and optimize workflows to meet organizational goals and client expectations. You will also maintain standards, leverage technology for efficiency and output quality, and manage the events calendar, leading each project to success.
Please note that this role supports a global business, and recordings/key elements may occur outside of usual UK working hours. Flexibility and acceptance of shifted hours are essential.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role managing video production/editing projects from concept to final cut.
- Team management, mentoring, and training experience.
- Experience organizing and coordinating recording sessions with clients/speakers.
- A hands-on, flexible approach to working hours, objectives, and travel.
- Proficiency in conducting online and in-person recordings (knowledge of best practices for framing, lighting, mics, noise cancellation, etc.).
- Experience filming with broadcast-quality cameras.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines with quick turnaround times.
- Demonstrable experience editing professional-standard projects to completion using software such as Adobe Premier, After Effects, Artlist, etc.
- Ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and propose alternative solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer focus, confidence to push back, and set expectations.
- Personable demeanor.
- Great attention to detail, methodical, highly organized, and energetic work ethic.
- Track record of performance excellence, meeting targets and objectives.
- Experience in a similar role within a corporate environment is desirable.
- Basic Adobe Photoshop skills are desirable.
