Data Scientist / Data Analyst

📍 Anywhere in Germany or Austria (Remote/Hybrid)

You'll work with modern technologies (Azure / AWS) and play a key role in developing and maintaining machine learning and statistical forecasting models that drive smarter decisions.

Your role:

  • Build and maintain Python-based data analyses and reusable scripts (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Extract, clean, and transform data from different sources using SQL and Python.
  • Create clear reporting and insights for business and finance stakeholders (KPIs, trends, anomalies).
  • Support forecasting and basic predictive analysis where useful (time-series is a plus).
  • Collaborate with consulting and delivery teams to turn business questions into practical, repeatable data outputs.

What you bring:

  • 0--2 years' experience in Data Analytics / Data Science (preferred, but not required).
  • Straight out of University and motivated with Python/SQL? There's an opportunity for you too.
  • Strong Python skills for real-world data work (Pandas, NumPy).
  • Solid SQL fundamentals (joins, aggregation, working with multiple tables).
  • A practical, proactive mindset.
  • Interest or exposure to Finance/Controlling data (study, thesis, projects, internships all count).
  • Nice to have: Power BI (or similar), basic statistics, time-series/forecasting, exposure to Azure.
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or similar.
