What awaits you?

• You will be part of the development and further development of calculation and valuation models
• You will label prices, suppliers, and work plans for training our AI
• You will contribute your expertise in modeling manufacturing costs, logistics chains, volume and bundling effects, and order constellations
• You will dynamically link historical business data, market data, and price developments and derive forecasts for price development
• You will create meaningful key figures, reports, and visualizations for our customers
• You will build concepts to map regional, economic, and, in the long term, political influences on price and supplier selection
• You will work closely with the AI and Customer Success departments and ensure the quality of the AI through technical expertise (testing)
• You will create reliable decision-making bases for real industrial processes -- not just analyses

What you should bring?

• You have a technical apprenticeship with further training, e.g., as a technician or master craftsman (m/f/d), or have completed a degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or computer science
• You have at least 3 years of professional experience in cost engineering
• You are proficient in handling structured technical information (e.g., from CAD and manufacturing environments) as well as manufacturing processes, methods, and technologies, ideally in mechanical engineering
• You think analytically and have basic statistical knowledge (e.g., regression models)
• You have good knowledge of component costing and bottom-up costing
• You work in a structured and self-reliant manner, are motivated, and open to familiarizing yourself with new concepts and subject areas
• You are a team player and communicate openly, clearly, and solution-oriented
• You have very good German and English skills
• Ideally, you have programming experience (e.g., Python/SQL) or enjoy data-driven work
