IT-Systemadministrator (m/w/d) - VMware / Veeam / Storage

Requirements

Must have:

• Clear communication and teamwork skills
• Strong customer orientation
• Ideally, experience with an IT service provider
• Very good German language skills (at least C1)
• Good English language skills (at least B2)
• Valid driver's license for flexible customer deployments
• In-depth experience in administering VMware environments
• Proficiency with Veeam backup solutions
• Experience in 2nd-level support for Windows clients
• Basic network knowledge (VLAN, VPN, routing basics)
• Knowledge in the storage area, ideally with HCI solutions

Responsibilities:

• Administration and further development of our customers' virtualized environments based on VMware
• Planning and operation of backup and recovery solutions with Veeam
• Management of modern storage infrastructures with a focus on DataCore and Nutanix
• Participation in technically demanding infrastructure projects for various clients
• Taking on varied 2nd-level support tasks
• Supporting colleagues with more complex cases
• Contributing your expertise to related areas such as Microsoft 365, networking, and client environments
