What are your main responsibilities?

• In-depth risk reporting: You will prepare reports on credit and market price risk. We are interested not only in the "what" but also in the "why" -- you will analyze deviations and make developments transparent for bank management.
• Central role in annual planning: You will hold the reins when it comes to coordinating the annual planning, bringing together the various sub-aspects into a coherent overall picture.
• Preparation of our committees: You will prepare the meetings of the proprietary investment and credit structure committee in terms of content. Your analyses will form the basis for discussions in these strategically important rounds.
• Point of contact at eye level: Whether for management, the executive board, specialist colleagues, or external auditors -- you are the competent interface who clearly communicates complex issues and confidently supports external audits.
• Actively shape processes: We want to continue to evolve. Therefore, you will critically question existing processes in risk controlling and contribute your own ideas to make our reports and processes more digital and efficient.

What do you bring to the table?

• Foundation: You have completed a degree in economics (focus on finance/controlling) or have a comparable qualification with corresponding expertise.
• Industry knowledge: You are familiar with the processes in a bank or financial service provider and are acquainted with the common regulatory requirements.
• Methodology & IT: Financial analyses are your daily tool. You are absolutely proficient in Excel and ideally have already gained experience with VR-Control or similar controlling software.
• Analytical thinking: You have a feel for risks and can prepare complex data in a way that is understandable and comprehensible even for non-controllers.
• Personality: You work in a structured manner, value careful work, and are comfortable in a role that requires both personal responsibility and teamwork.
