System Engineer - Kubernetes / GitOps (m/w/d)

Requirements

Must have:

• Completed IT training, a degree, or comparable practical experience
• Initial to good experience with container technologies (Kubernetes or OpenShift)
• Solid basic Linux knowledge
• Experience with Git; GitOps, Argo CD, or Helm are advantageous but not a must
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and automation
• Interest in stable, secure platforms and modern cloud/container architectures
• Willingness to learn and motivation to familiarize yourself with new technologies
• Independent and structured way of working
• German language skills (min. C1) and residence within Germany

Responsibilities:

• Participation in the operation and further development of our container platforms based on Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Support in the operation of platform-related services, e.g. Apache Kafka
• Involvement in GitOps-based deployments (e.g. with Argo CD)
• Adaptation and maintenance of existing Helm Charts
• Analysis and resolution of disruptions in container platforms
• Collaboration with development, security, and infrastructure teams
• Gradual assumption of responsibility for platform standards and operating processes
