These Tasks Await

Core Responsibilities

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
• Responsibility for balance sheet, P&L, and related disclosures
• Evaluation and accounting of complex business transactions (provisions, accruals, intercompany transactions, etc.)
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Primary contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and authorities
• Preparation and coordination of annual audit processes
• Preparation of VAT returns and support on tax-related matters
• Analysis and further development of accounting and closing processes
• Active involvement in the development and optimization of SAP FI structures
• Support of internal and external reporting requirements

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

• Certified Accountant qualification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter IHK) or comparable professional certification
• Several years of professional experience in financial accounting
• Strong expertise in German GAAP (HGB)
• Very good SAP knowledge (ideally SAP FI)
• Confident handling of complex closing and valuation topics
• Structured, analytical, and self-driven working style
• Good German and English language skills
